Illinois has the following shipping restrictions and/or additional requirements:

You must provide us with one of the following documents in order to purchase ammunition or magazines:
  1. A currently valid, non-expired Illinois Firearm Owner's Identification Card (FOID) (matching your shipping address).
The following restrictions apply state-wide:
  1. All firearms must be shipped to an FFL.
  2. Individuals must be of legal age to purchase ammunition or firearms.
  3. No sales of pistol magazines with a capacity of 15+.
  4. No sales of .50 caliber ammunition or firearms.
  5. No sales of threaded barrels.
  6. No sales of pistol braces.
  7. No sales of rifle or pistol build kits.
  8. No sales of binary or forced reset triggers.
  9. No sales of bump stocks.
  10. No sales of shotguns with a detachable magazine.
  11. No sales of shotguns with revolving cylinders.
  12. No sales of pistols with threaded barrels.
  13. No sales of AR/AK rifles or pistols.
  14. No sales of complete AR/AK upper receivers.
  15. No sales of AR-10 rifles.
  16. No sales of firearms with melting point restrictions.
  17. No sales of automatic knives.
  18. No sales of ballistic knives.
  19. No sales of switchblades.
The following restrictions apply to specific jurisdictions:

The City of Chicago:
  1. No sales of any kind.
The City of Deerfield:
  1. No sales of ammunition or projectiles.
  2. No sales of stripped or complete receivers.
  3. No sales of non-compliant AR/AK pistols or rifles.
  4. No sales of AR/AK parts.
  5. No sales of pistol, rifle, or shotgun magazines with a capacity of 10+.
The City of Homewood:
  1. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
The City of Dolton:
  1. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
The City of Highland Park:
  1. No sales of stripped or complete receivers.
  2. No sales of non-compliant AR/AK pistols or rifles.
  3. No sales of AR/AK parts.
  4. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
The City of Evanston:
  1. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 15+.
The City of Aurora:
  1. No sales of stripped or complete receivers.
  2. No sales of non-compliant AR/AK pistols or rifles.
  3. No sales of AR/AK parts.
  4. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 15+.
  5. The City of Skokie:
  6. No sales of magazines with a capacity of 10+.
Cook County:
  1. No sales of ammunition or projectiles.
  2. No sales of stripped or complete receivers.
  3. No sales of non-compliant AR/AK pistols or rifles.
  4. No sales of AR/AK parts.
  5. No sales of pistol, rifle, or shotgun magazines with a capacity of 10+.
  6. No sales of non-compliant handguns or pistols.
